For Concep Send users who have purchased the InterAction integration suite for Concep Send, your firm may have purchased a dedicated custom Preference Manager site for contact subscription and preference management.
Concep's Preference Manager site for InterAction is a standalone website, designed and branded per client requirements, which connects directly to your InterAction CRM instance. All messaging and text on the site can also be customized to your preferences.
If you do not currently have a Preference Manager site, you can reach out to your Account Manager or Support contact to inquire about pricing and requirements.
To review an active demo site, you can refer to the Concep Send demonstration Preference Manager at demo here.
All PM sites are comprised of three main steps: the landing page, contact details tab, and preferences/areas of interest tab.
For example, when navigating to a firm's Preference Manager site, a contact would find the landing page requesting this person login as an existing subscriber, or register if they have not done so already.
When a new contact enters their email to Register, this integrated site connects to InterAction to locate or create the contact in CRM. If an existing address is found, the contact will be prompted to login or reset their password (if applicable).
If this address is not located already in CRM, they will be taken to the Contact Details page of the site to populate and submit their details.
These fields are gathered by the on-boarding team during the creation of your site, through a data collection spreadsheet in which a client provides all fields they would like to include on their form. Any contact field in InterAction can be coded into the site, provided the CRM field value is provided to Concep for coding. Fields can also be set to required and optional, as needed.
Once a contact has saved their contact details, they can navigate to the Mailing Preferences tab.
Here, contacts can choose from a set of topics of interest and/or localities. Each of the check boxes on the site connects directly back to Marketing Lists in InterAction, the IDs for these lists having been provided to Concep during the data collection process of the site build.
When both contact details and preferences have been saved for a new contact, that contact will then be created in InterAction and associated to their chosen lists.
All new contacts will also be added to a predefined 'Review' folder in InterAction - this will easily allow your CRM team to review and promote new contacts created through the site.
For existing contacts, the site also provides a login to the site.
Preference Manager can be coded with or without a Password requirement, depending on your needs.
For sites with a Password requirement, there is a Forgot Password link allowing contacts to reset their password if they have forgotten it, or if they exist in CRM but have not yet set a password for the Preference Manager login.
Once logged in, existing contacts will enter the site and have access to the same Contact Details and Mailing Preferences tabs as above. If a contact logs into Preference Manager and already exists in CRM, any lists they exist on will display as already selected under their mailing preferences.
Contacts can login to change their details or preferences at any time, which then reflect back in InterAction upon saving.
The Preference Manager site is a very useful tool in ensuring contacts receive targeting mailings per their preferences, without requiring manual work from the marketing team.
