- Survey integration: Additional option to choose how the "Company" field is handled
If you've ever noticed you have multiple variations of the same company in CRM, fear no more! In the Connection Wizard, there is a new option which you can select if you'd like to stop creating new company records in CRM. If selected, the company will be synced as a free text field which you can easily edit in InterAction. Your CRM admin will then be able to associate the contact with an existing company, giving you more control over your data. - Survey integration: Helping you keep your contact data clean by only syncing valid email addresses
Email addresses can only contain a select few special characters. To help keep your data as clean as possible, we have stopped syncing email addresses that contain invalid characters. That means that if a contact submits an email address containing any of the following characters, they will not be synced back to CRM: ! $ % & * + / = ? ^ ` { | } ~
Bug Fixes:
- Survey integration: You can now see a contact's actual response to a multiple-choice question in the activity in InterAction
Previously, when a contact submitted their response to a multiple choice question, the activity in CRM would display a code associated with the answer as opposed to the actual text value which made it difficult to decipher. You can now see the text value in the activity, which makes it easier to check how a contact responded in CRM. - Survey integration: Activities with a custom title were not syncing
If the title of an activity was edited in the Connection Wizard, the activity would not log back to InterAction. This has been resolved.
