Email Scores will depend on the number of Campaigns a recipient has received, and how many actions they have taken with those Campaigns. Whilst there is not a general rule of what comprises a good/bad score; we can say that if a contact score for a specific email Campaign is 0, then it can be considered as a bad score since this means that the recipient viewed an email but did not interact with it. A good average score could be 2 as it means that the contact has at least viewed and clicked on all of your email campaigns. However, if the global score is higher than 2 then this contact would be below the average, therefore his/her score wouldn’t be as good as was previously thought.
So the Email Score is a combination of what is expected as a minimum engagement (view and click at least once) and the average score across all contacts. If you would like to know more about what score is good/bad based on your individual needs, feel free to discuss with your account manager.
