Do you find you have key questions, branding or disclaimers that you wish to be mandatory in all Surveys your company is sending out? Well now you can with the introduction of our question lock feature.
When saving a Survey as a template, you will now have the option to select which questions you do not want to be editable.
To access the feature click the drop down arrow next to the Survey title and select more. From here you will see a section titled "Save as Template".
Within this section you can give your new Survey template a name and then select which of the existing questions you wish to lock. Please note that questions will need to exist within the Survey before they can be locked down.
You can simply tick the questions you wish to lock and the amount selected will display on the previous page.
Once you are happy with your selection, you can save the template which will then appear within the Survey template section of your user account.
If you wish to review the locked questions and made changes, you can do so within the Survey template section.
Finally, if you create a new Survey from the newly created template, you will see the questions you have locked down no longer have an arrow next to them and so can not be edited by whoever is creating their Survey.
Please note that only the owner of the Survey template will be able to make adjustments to the locked questions. Any user account the Survey template is shared with can not edit or delete any question that has been locked.
If you have any questions or run into any issues, please feel free to reach out to our Support team.
