Copying a Campaign will create an identical replica in your In Progress Campaigns section. This slightly differs to sharing Campaigns, as when you share, the Campaign will sit in the reporting section and allow you access to the metrics (views, clicks, etc.). To find out more about sharing Campaigns, click here.
To copy a Campaign into the same account, click the drop down arrow on the right hand side of the Campaign and click Copy. If you are looking to copy a Campaign into another User account within your Group or Client, you can select copy to.
Enter a title for the copied Campaign and click Copy or Copy and Edit. If you select Copy, the Campaign will just sit in the in progress section, but if you select Copy and Edit you will be redirected to the editing section.
To include groups and recipients, click the tick box named Include groups and recipients with Campaign.

When Campaigns are copied from previous ones, over time poor code (known as bloated code) can build up causing creation and rendering issues. The best way to avoid this is to create a Campaign directly from the original template. If you find yourself continuously copying a specific campaign, contact Delivery Services to discuss having this made as a template. |
