How to Skip Holidays when scheduling a Campaign

When configuring a repeat schedule for a Campaign, you'll want to choose a date and time that will maximise interaction with your campaign. Concep Send has a feature that will allow you to skip holidays, so if you set up a repeat schedule to send every Monday morning and there is an upcoming bank holiday Monday, you can list the holidays and the platform will send your comm on the next working day instead.

This is a setting titled "Scheduled Skip Holiday" which we can turn on for you. Please contact [e-mail] to assist you with this. 

Please note that this setting applies to repeat scheduled sends only rather than all scheduled campaigns.

The setting will allow you to add holidays/occasions so that the system knows which days to skip.

Once your holiday has been named and added, it will appear as seen below. 

You can then click "Update" to save your changes.

After this has been set, you can create your Campaign and when scheduling you will see an option to skip holidays (the holidays that you added).

It is worth noting that if a holiday is skipped, the repeat scheduled send will be sent the following day i.e. if your scheduled skip holiday was a Monday then your Campaign would send the following day on the Tuesday.
