How to insert a button into a Campaign
You can insert HTML Buttons directly into Campaigns from the editor toolbar which can be used to link to various URLs, Surveys and files.
To insert the Button, click Insert on the editor toolbar, and then click Button.
In the pop up window, you can style the Button and create the link.
The Text option allows you to give the Button a title.
The Link option will take you to a pop up window that will allow you to select the type of link you wish to add. Please note that the Button can not be created until the link has been selected. You do however have the option to go back into the Button once it has been made where you will be able to view, remove or update the link.
When editing the Style of the Button you have two options; Simple and Custom.
The Simple option will allow you to change the colour and select one of three shapes.
The Custom option allows you to edit the Font, Background and Border colours as well as specify a desired pixel size for the Width, Height and Border Radius.
Once you have finished designing your Button, click the Add Button option to insert the Button into your Campaign.
Linking URL with the Text in the campaign.
This method helps you to attach the URL with the Text and then insert it to the campaign.
Button functionality is more suitable for the short text and can cause the rendering issues in the campaign. So, if you want to use long text in the Button without the rendering issue, then you can use this method to attach the link with the text and works like a button. Please follow the below steps to achieve this.
Drag a content block into the campaign where you want to create a Button and then create a table (1*3) in that content block.
Add your text in the middle column of the table and adjust it to the Center align to look more organized.
You can give border space to your text from the Top and Bottom in the cell as per your requirement, this will set your button size.
Now right click on the cell, then click on the Cell Properties and you can set Background and Border color.
You can also change the style and size of the text from the Toolbar.
Now select the text and click on the Link option to attach the link in the text. Once you have linked the desired URL then the Button will look like this.
After linking the URL to text, you will see that the text is underlined and to remove this you need to double click on the text and you will be presented by a Link window, then click in the Advanced tab. In the Advanced tab there is Style option in the right bottom of the window, please add the value “text-decoration:none” in there and press ok.
