Setting Restrictions for Multiple Choice Questions

You can set restrictions for multiple choice questions so that only a certain number of responders can select a specific answer to a survey.

When setting up your multiple choice survey, next to the Answers boxes, select More Options.

This will reveal additional options where you can select a response limit. For each question you can select how many times that answer can be selected.

You can then select from two different options with what happens when you hit the limit:

Hide: This will hide the option from any responders who access the survey after the answer limit has been hit.

Disable: This will grey out the option and the answer can’t be selected by anyone who access the surveys after the answer limit has been reached.
