Why does my campaign not print out the same as it appears in my inbox?

Printers generally do not print background colors, especially HTML background colors. For websites, CSS style sheets can be setup to look a certain way for printers, but this is not a capability that we are able to adapt for the inbox or for campaigns at this time.

To offer recipients another way to print the campaign, you may download and include a PDF of the campaign from down arrow for the campaign. That way, recipients would be able to print a PDF that does include the full colors etc. as intended.

How to download a campaign as a PDF file

To download a Campaign as a PDF, click the dropdown arrow on the right hand side of the campaign and click More

This will open up a pop-up where you can navigate to the Download tab

Here, click show in the Advanced section, where you can download other versions of the campaign by clicking the Version drop down. 

You can also choose between downloading the ‘First page’ or all pages of the Campaign. 

With the PDF Size dropdown list you can specify the size and orientation of the PDF document.

Once download customization is complete click Download PDF to download the campaign as a PDF file.
