We’re excited to show you the new features and improvements included in our latest release of Concep SEND: Version 44.
What’s new? Top 3 Highlights
- The new toolbar editor makes it easier to create campaigns, surveys and templates.
- You have greater flexibility with your opt outs. You can now set certain templates that are exempt from internal opt outs and create user accounts that aren’t bound by Group or Client-level opt outs.
- As part of our ongoing commitment to keep improving the security of the platform, all surveys will now be deployed over HTTPS, making your respondents’ data more secure.

New Editor Toolbar
Technically this is an improvement, but we’re calling this new. The toolbar has all of the usual functionality; the ability to add links, format your content, and edit your HTML, and it’s been given a new look. But it’s more than just a makeover - any links and email addresses you type are automatically linked. Creating a multi-language campaign? Now you have the ability to type from right to left if you need to.
More Secure Surveys
Concep Send continues its improvements in the security of the platform. In Version 39 the login page was served over HTTPS. Version 43 allowed the application to generate SSL certificates for all sending domains. Now, all surveys will be deployed over HTTPS, meaning that your survey respondents will be answering questions on a securely hosted survey.
Greater Flexibility with Opt-Outs
Concep Send makes sure that every template built, and every campaign sent, contains an opt out link to make sure that your recipients have the right to unsubscribe from receiving your emails. Sometimes though, there may be reason why someone shouldn’t be opting out, for example, if they are an internal contact. In this version, in specific templates intended for internal campaigns, you can now prevent contacts from opting out.
When communication extends beyond marketing and its business-critical for your recipients to receive an email from you, it’s frustrating to have contacts that have opted out who need to be contacted by other means. You can now create user accounts that are exempt from the higher Group or Client level opt outs and ensure that your contacts receive important messages. What else is new?
Share Specific Links from your Campaigns
Your campaigns will be packed full of great content for your recipients and sometimes there will be that one article that really resonates. Rather than share the entire campaign, you can now set social media icons for specific links in your campaign. That way your contacts can share the content that really engaged them.
Suppress Out of Office Replies
If you’re managing your replies so that they’re stored in Concep Send, the system already filters out the Out of Office response so that they don’t clutter your inbox. Sometimes it’s useful to see why a contact hasn’t engaged with your campaign but if you’re sending a campaign to a large list of contacts, the number of out of office responses can be overwhelming. Now you can filter out the out-of-office responses with just one click of a button.
About That Highlighting Issue When Editing Blocks? It’s Fixed!
Sometimes, despite the best intentions, technology isn’t perfect. We know there was one issue that was so annoying we needed to shout about it being fixed. For those of you tearing your hair out trying to highlight content within a block a move your cursor only to find the highlighted text had been deselected, your frustrations are over. You can relax and highlight to your heart’s content - the issue has been fixed!
