How can I make modifications to surveys without erasing response data?

⚠️	Before making changes to a live survey, we strongly recommend exporting your latest set of responses via Reports to avoid permanently losing any data.

 

If you edit a survey where responses have already been recorded, the following warning will display:

You can make the following adjustments without any response data being erased:

✔️	Add a new question to your survey
✔️	Add a new option to a multiple choice question
✔️	Amend the wording of a question
✔️	Amend the wording of an option within a multiple choice question

Response data will be erased if you make any of these changes:

❌	Change the data type for one of your questions (i.e. from text to multiple choice)
❌	Remove a question from your survey
